Ingredients | |
250-300 g | Pork or chicken |
10-12 | Small Thai chillies (3 cm size) |
4-5 | Garlic cloves |
2-300 ml | Fresh leaves of Thai basil (Grapow) |
2 tbsp | Oyster sauce |
1-2 tsp | Stock seasoning |
1 tbsp | Sugar |
2-3 tbsp | Cooking oil |
Instructions |
Slice pork or chicken thinly and cut in small bits (or use Moo Sap in Thailand) |
Peel garlic cloves |
remove stems from chillies |
Mash garlic and chillies together or chop finely |
Heat oil in pan and put in mashed spice |
Stir until starting to change colour |
Add meat and fry while stirring until it looks done |
Add Oyster sauce, Stock seasoning and sugar and mix well |
Add basil and mix well and cook until all leaves are slightly cooked |
Serve with Jasmin rice and cucumbers |
